The New England Revolution announced Monday that it has unveiled a new design that will be part of a new home stadium.
The design is a stone flooring that is made from a material that the team says will be stronger than previous designs that have been built for new stadiums.
“This design is the most significant element of the new stadium in our 20-year history,” Revolution owner Bill McGuire said in a statement.
“The team believes that this material will allow us to offer fans an authentic New England experience while ensuring that we can offer the best possible experience for our players, fans, and city.
The team said the new design is called “Straw,” and the name comes from the material that is used in it.
The new design will be on the stadium’s exterior.
The home team has been trying to win the Supporters Shield, the league’s premier trophy.
It is not expected to win a title this season.
